Ideal apartment for all night party goers who sleep by the pool Positive: First impressions of the actual apartment. It was clean tidy and comfortable with plenty of items in the kitchen to allow cooking if you wanted to. Negative: 1. We were told we would get a 4 digit code for the key bank and the door: • there were about 30 key banks - none with our apartment number on so we had to go thro all the banks to find ours. Owner said he sent a photo which we never received. • it was an 8 digit code to the apartment door which was stiff to open so took us a while to get in. Too long a code to remember. Another key would have been a lot easier. 2. When we entered the apartment the owners had left the patio door open with the grills closed. This had allowed a stray cat to come and sleep on one of the beds. 3. We emailed to ask for the WiFi password. He emailed back to say it was on the bottom of the box. Finally found the box on top of the kitchen wall unit and as 2 small ladies (in our late 50’s/early 60’s we had to climb up and get it. This could have been written in a welcome pack or a poster inside the front door. 4. Leaving the patio doors open when in bed or out meant the neighbourhood cats would come in and one occasion left us with a very smell poo in the corner of the room. This meant that we had to sleep with the doors closed so the room would be stuffy all night and I struggled to sleep as I’m used to a window open all night even in the heart of winter. 5. Every 15 minutes or so, day and night, there would be a very loud gushing noise coming from the bathroom. This disturbed our sleep so much even with the bathroom door closed that my friend moved to another friends apartment to get a good nights sleep. I emailed the owner who told me to take the batteries out of the smoke alarm (which in itself was concerning) even though I knew it wasn’t the smoke alarm. When I replied he said he would send a technician round who never arrived. 6. There was always a strong smell of weed approaching the apartment and sometimes it would come into the apartment if we sat on the patio
